Combining plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and Gamma-polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA) enhances maize growth under salt stress in pot experiments. The joint treatment increased plant height, leaf area, and dry weight by up to 142.80%, and reduced leaf Na+ by 59.43%. It also improved the rhizosphere microbial community, boosting Firmicutes.
