Optimizing cotton growth in saline soil: Compound microbial agent modulates indigenous bacteria to enhance photosynthesis and vegetative-reproductive balance

Optimizing cotton growth in saline soil: Compound microbial agent modulates indigenous bacteria to enhance photosynthesis and vegetative-reproductive balance

Salt-tolerant composite plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (STC-PGPR) improved cotton growth under salt stress in a pot experiment, enhancing seed cotton and boll dry matter under low to moderate salinity, but effectiveness decreased under high salinity. This study provides insights for optimizing saline soil cultivation.
