Cover crops and no-till management can enhance soil organic carbon (SOC) levels, offering potential climate change mitigation benefits. This study found that no-till and cover crops significantly increased SOC (%OC) compared to reduced tillage. Bacterial abundance and soil pH were key factors in %OC variations, though CO2 flux showed limited differences, highlighting the need for region-specific research to optimize SOC management strategies.
