In the past 15–20 years, the use of Plant-Growth-Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) has significantly increased, demonstrating effectiveness beyond laboratory settings to field conditions. This review discusses recent reports on various PGPB types, their mechanisms, and their effects on food crops, highlighting the growing commercialization and success of these beneficial bacteria.
