This study explored the metabolomic interactions between Pteris vittata and its rhizospheric microorganisms during arsenic (As) phytoextraction. Increased water-soluble As and decreased soil pH indicated that acidic metabolites enhance As solubilization. The plant drives rhizosphere microbial activity, with pterosins enriching beneficial microbes and improving As bioavailability.
