This review covers the role of phytohormones produced by plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) in regulating plant growth under stress. It discusses recent advances in bacterial phytohormone functions, their beneficial effects on plant growth, and their integration with other growth promotion mechanisms, emphasizing their agricultural applications.
