The study examines the carbon sink potential of Tibetan grasslands and advocates for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to enhance carbon sequestration. Using literature review, meta-analysis, and model simulations, results indicate NbS could boost carbon sinks by 15-21 tetragrams by 2060. The authors proposed a conceptual NbS framework that integrates initiatives for the restoration of degraded grasslands and carbon sequestration.
